Photovoltaic system (or PV) is the field of technology and research related to the application of solar cells of energy by converting solar energy (sunlight, including ultra violet radiation) directly into electricity. The EPIA/Greenpeace advanced scenario shows that by the year 2030, PV systems could be generating approximately 1864 GW of electricity around the world.
This would roughly translate into enough solar power to satisfy almost 14% of the world’s population with energy.

Residential Solar Electric Systems (PV)
TEP is offering incentive payments for residential photovoltaic systems to encourage the installation of solar power. To qualify in this category, systems can be up to 20 kilowatts AC (kWAC). Up-front Incentive (UFI) or performance-Based incentive (PBI) is available for both grid tied and off-grid systems up to 20 kWAC.
